Rich is a highly experienced skilled coach and facilitator who works with corporate, not for profit, education, and military clients to support their development and performance as individuals, teams, and organizations. He is an ACC accredited coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a trained executive coach through the Center for Executive Coaching.
Rich was career Army officer, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 2016 with over 22 years of active duty service. He served in numerous operational assignments, including three combat tours in Iraq, conducting operations as a cavalry squadron operations officer and as an advisor and mentor for Iraqi security forces from the battalion to provincial levels in Baghdad, Dhi Qar Province, and Basra.
As a TAC officer at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and as an air officer commanding and academic faculty member at the U.S. Air Force Academy he contributed daily to the development of future leaders in the U.S. Army and Air Force.
After retiring from the Army Rich continued to serve at the Air Force Academy in the Center for Character and Leadership Development, primarily fostering staff and faculty development while also working with NCAA Division I athletic team captains to create the conditions for success on their teams.
Rich combines his deep and vast expertise to create unique and custom experiences for every client, team, and organization he is privileged to work with. He is committed to ensuring the well-being of his clients is top of mind because he believes when this is present and alive high performance results quickly follow.
Rich holds a MS in Counseling and Adult Development from Long Island University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
When he is not working with clients, Rich enjoys all forms of outdoor activities, especially trail running and kayaking, with his family and friends.
